Psionic Healing: Beyond the Blue Psiball

Instructor: Rainsong
Date: February 24, 2018 (Saturday)

Rainsong
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.

Rainsong
Welcome to another seminar here at the social club.

Rainsong
Our topic for the evening is “Psionic Healing”…. taking it beyond the basic blue psiball

Rainsong
Before we start, are there any questions, going in?

Rose
Yes.. i wasn’t present during the previous lecture (about the blue psiball?). Is there anything i need to know before following this one?

Rainsong
It should be fine. We won’t be using the blue-psiball stuff in this lecture. Instead, we’ll be looking at different approaches entirely.

Rose
Alright!

Rainsong
For reference later, both of these earlier logs have information about the afore-mentioned blue- psiball. http://psc-online.org/doku.php?id=class_logs:dmils:rudimentary_healing and http://psc-online.org/doku.php?id=class_logs:dmils:treating_pain_without_using_drugs

Rainsong
Folks have apparently gotten tired of that one, because it was requested that we cover some other approaches. 😀

Rainsong
And there are many.

Rainsong
We will however be still staying with very basic skills. For the most part, these are reasonably safe to use even if you don’t have a background in Anatomy and Physiology. There are other psionic healing methods that are very much not safe to use without that background knowledge.

Rose
That’s good to know..

Rainsong
You’ll sometimes hear people say that “the universe” or “the energy” or whatever will stop you from causing harm accidentally (or even on purpose).

Rainsong
Horse-puckey.

Rainsong
Sticking with this easy stuff should at least prevent you from messing up accidentally. (What you do deliberately is another question entirely)

Rainsong
Be aware that sometimes these things don’t work. Just like, sometimes, more conventional treatments don’t work. You do your best, but you’re not a god. The fact that there are limits to what we can do can be a hard lesson. Don’t let anyone tell you that it reflects your worth as a person, or how much you love the person you’re working on, or whatever. Sadly, there are occasionally people who make such claims. Some of them even believe it. Some are just jackasses.

Rainsong
Understood?

Rose
Yes

Rose
(i’m waiting for others to also answer…)

Rainsong
…which they might not…

Rose
Carry on then, I guess

Scelana
Hehe

Rainsong
Also, keep in mind that most of what we’ll be discussing will be easier to do for someone else than for yourself. But generally they are possible both ways.

Scelana
Everyone has limits in some way or another, just a part of life hehe

Rainsong
It’s true

Rainsong
Alright. Let’s say for example that a friend of yours is in hospital for a “minor” surgery: biopsy, perhaps, or repairing a compound fracture

Limebeer
Oh no, not Billy! I hope he’ll be okay :scream:

Rainsong
Because this person is a friend, you’d like the person to come through the surgery well and recover quickly

Rainsong
You can use your skills to help with that.

Rainsong
Take a few minutes (ten to fifteen if you can) and settle down into a nice calm state. Breathe easily, without hitching between breaths.

Rainsong
While doing this, imagine your friend, picturing him/her as clearly as you can… and picture them already recovered from the surgery:

Rainsong
They’re up and around (or happily wheeling themselves around, if they use a wheelchair), the incision is just a red line or even more faded than that, and they’re all full of “vim and vigour”

Rainsong
Ideally, do this a few times: the night before surgery, just before it is scheduled to start… during, if it’s a long one… and maybe a couple times after.

Rainsong
If you can add some “affection” or “love” emotion to the visualization, all the better.

Rainsong
And the more clearly you can add your intention to help heal the person, the more effective it is likely to be.

Rose
Isn’t that probability manipulation?

Rainsong
Pretty much, yes.

Rainsong
Other questions or commentary?

Limebeer
Not so much I’d say, more… long distance energy sending I’d say

Rainsong
There’s that component, too.

Limebeer
Or remote healing I think it’s called

Scelana
Ahh

Rainsong
To be fair, remote healing is any that’s not done at close range, regardless of method.

Limebeer
But, I more want to ask if direct healing will be discussed, such as in person energy manipulation to increase the healing process

Rose
So this is both probability manipulation and long distance energy sending?

Rainsong
Rose: yes

Rainsong
Limebeer: Possibly. It depends on how “direct” you have in mind. I generally don’t teach open classes on things like re-knitting bones or adjusting Interferon. Too much prerequisite knowledge (the aforementioned A&P, for example) for it to be a good idea

Limebeer
Not that in depth, just a general boost to the body’s natural healing process, such as instead of taking a a few days to heal you shave off a day or two from it

Rainsong
Yes, I plan to cover that.

Limebeer
Alright, cool beans

Rose
Ohh, that’s something i’m very interested in, too… can that be used to speed up healing from a cold or flu? And would that have any negative consequences versus letting it go it’s natural course?

Rainsong
It works for some people in that regard and not for others. Psionic healing is weird that way, too. It seems that at least some people are very effective when dealing with some kinds of injuries or illnesses and completely ineffective at others… regardless of the relative perceived “difficulty”

Rainsong
For example, I’m pretty good at getting rid of migraines, but totally rubbish at getting rid of cramps in the tummy and lower abdomen.

Limebeer
It can if you are careful, but it also strains your system so it can actually cause you to get worse if you do it wrong… its a balance thing if you are doing things like healing from a cold or virus or infection.

Limebeer
This is from my experience btw

Rose
Limebeer: But doesn’t that only apply to healing yourself, and not to others? As in, if it’s someone else having the cold or flu, speeding up their recovery from it puts strain on your ownsystem and not on theirs, so it shouldn’t have any bad effects?

Rainsong
It can also strain theirs

Limebeer
Viruses and bacteria and other microbes are tricky… it’s hard to get it done right for yourself, let alone others… for instance, you have to know how the virus is affecting them, what their symptoms are, how their body works, etc

Rainsong
Be especially careful if the person has a fever. Speeding up their body’s attempt to kill off a virus can result in a higher fever. Or even a “cytokine storm”

Rose
oh yeesh!

Limebeer
Injuries are relatively easy, sicknesses are a whole other matter

Rainsong
Further commentary?

Limebeer
Not from me

Rose
Not from me either

Rainsong
Injuries are indeed easier.

Rainsong
In any case… Continuing, then:

Rainsong
I am presuming that you all know how to move energy-stuff/psi-stuff/oomph around. And will be continuing on that basis. If not, refer to any of the “Oomph” classes: http://psc-online.org/doku.php?id=class_logs:start#basics_and_maintenance

Rainsong
This is going to sound both over-simple and fluffy as hell, :/

Limebeer
Atleast it’ll be cozy then… 😉

Scelana
Hehe

Rose
You probably have a good reason for that 😛

Rainsong
Ever see a parent watching their munchkin do sometime? Kid’s first time riding a bike, or catching a ball, or “dancing” to music in the livingroom?

Rainsong
Or the baby’s first step?

Scelana
Would watching my bottle fed kittens take their 1st steps count?

Rainsong
For the next part of the question, yes, actually.

Rainsong
There’s a feeling of strong affection and pride and attention that is a variety of active “love”.

Rainsong
And yes, that feeling isn’t only felt toward munchkins. That’s just the easiest example for the most people to understand.

Rainsong
Watching your bottle-fed kittens taking their first steps involves pretty-much the same feeling.

Rainsong
Any of you not have a decent idea of the feeling in question?

Rose
raises hand >.<

Rainsong
Fair enough. Is there anyone or anything you love strongly?

Rose
yes

Limebeer
It’s protective love of another

Rainsong
Rose: Work with the feeling you have to that person or thing.

Rainsong
Limebeer: Good descriptor. Thanks. 😀

Rose
okay 😀

Limebeer
No problem 😉

Rose
Someone who gave me and a few others a lesson on healing, in real life, presented that same concept, and at that time, i chose my love for many different animals, and that seemed to work?

Rainsong
Depending on where the person is, or whether you’re working on yourself (this is really useful if you have a habit of over-stressing your muscles when working out….), either put your hands around the “ouchie” or turn your palms toward it.

Rainsong
Rose: That will work, yes

Rose
well, kinds of animals*

Rainsong
While bringing to mind this feeling, push a stream of oomph through your palms into “whatever hurts”. If you want, you can also send it outward directly from the area around your heart.

Rainsong
The two or three streams should all meet where the ouchie is

Rainsong
If you’re not sure exactly where the person is hurt, ask them to point.

Rainsong
Richard Gordon, of Quantum Touch fame, calls that the “where does it hurt” technique.

Rose
….there is a name for a technique that is simply asking someone where they are hurting? o.O

Rainsong
The Quantum Touch people do pretty much this same thing, actually, – the healing part, not the asking part– except that they time the stream to their breath: pushing it outward with the exhalation.

Limebeer
 you don’t say…

Rainsong
Rose: Yes, but I believe he was making fun of his lack of psychic ability

Rose
ahahaha!

Scelana
Lol

Limebeer
Anyway. I use my heartbeat not my breath for how I do it

Rainsong
I’ve used this for plants in distress, and it works well for helping them recover. It also shortens recovery time after working out at the gym or over-enthusiasm in the dojo.

Rainsong
So, yea, several small variations. Very simple. Relatively easy.

Rainsong
Any questions?

Rainsong
Comments?

Rose
What does that technique do? Speed up recovery time? Heal things instantly? Something else?

Azarea
Is there anything you’d recommend for teeth?

Limebeer
@Azarea flossing is magical for helping with teeth

Rainsong
Rose: It supports healing, usually speeding it up. Sometimes, it solves the problem instantly. Usually it doesn’t.

Rainsong
Azarea: what kind of tooth problem?

Azarea
mainly interested in two, general maintenance | something hurts really bad and dentist is only available in a week

Limebeer
Also, @Rose generally it’s for speeding up healing, sometimes releasing minor pains

Rose
Thank you Rainsong and Limebeer 😀

Rainsong
Azarea: I’d recommend the blue psiball for that one. That’s what I’ve used, up to and including dental surgery on a twice-abscessed molar. The pain-management log linked near the beginning of class will also be useful.

Limebeer
You can also make a sort of “brace” with that technique to help with certain types of soreness, such as a sprain or overuse of joints. Doesn’t take the place of actual medical items designed for it, but can help in a pinch or in conjunction with it

Rose
Does this method also work remotely, and does it work for soothing and/or removing headaches?

Rainsong
(That surgery couldn’t use pain killers of any kind or any antiseptics other than salt water)

Limebeer
Good for headaches, though a neck/base of skull massage works magical wonders for that

Rose
Also… how would one do this remotely? Without having the situation where you can physically put your hands around someone’s owie?

Draco_Platina
I seem to recall someone here doing something about a cracked tooth?

Rainsong
And yes, it works remotely. Easiest way to do that is to make an “imaginary doll” of the person/plant/critter in front of you at a convenient height and size

Rose
Do you have a class logged somewhere about using such an imaginary doll?

Limebeer
Bi-location also works

Rose
Ohh, good to know, thanks Limebeer 😀

Rainsong
Draco: Numbing it for sure. I’m not recalling the fixing-the-cracked-tooth incident

Draco_Platina
I think it was Turbo, but I might be mistaken.

Rainsong
Rose: http://psc-online.org/doku.php?id=blog:a_simple_energy_healing_method Picture the person in front of you, about two feet / 60cm tall, in three dimensions, just floating in the air at a convenient height. Build up the visualization as much as you can, but don’t worry too much if it isn’t as clear as you’d like.

Rainsong
Draco: Cool Thanks.

Rose
Thank you Rainsong 😀 I’m used to doing it via projection so that’ll be interesting to try out..

Rainsong
This way’s easier, for at least some people

Rainsong
Other questions? Commentary?

Scelana
I have none that I can think of so far

Rainsong
With the “doll” approach, as mentioned in the link above, you can also “rake” the person’s field with streams of oomph from your fingertips. Make the “oomph” clear or white. Avoid colour – especially orange.

Rainsong
And rake or brush through the field with these narrow streams.

Scelana
What does orange typically do?

Rose
…..what does purple color do when healing? That’s the one i most often use nowdays. sometimes also green…

Rainsong
Raking like this breaks up debris, and is surprisingly good at dealing with headaches, back-aches, and general maintenance.

Rainsong
Reportedly, orange tends to cause stuff to exit rapidly: violent “runs”, vomiting, even miscarriage

Xero’och
what I’m getting here

Xero’och
is always use orange

Rainsong
(This is why it’s better to wait until the end of the description to start with the questions)

Rainsong
Xero’och: Perhaps, depending on your objective. The trick is to know what you’re doing.

Rose
oops >.<

Rainsong
Green is generally safe for most colour-healing purposes… As long as there is no cancer involved

Rainsong
For whatever reason, it has a tendency to make tumours grow more.

Rainsong
In the case of this raking, white is safer all round. If you must use a green or purple, make them very pale.

Nevyn
Because people associate green with growth/spring/plants/etc

Rose
What does purple do?

Nevyn
Makes people royal

ceahhettan
Green is ALSO similarly not safe for bone spurs or benign tumors of sort.

Rose
lol

ceahhettan
goes back off to work/food

Rose
that’s good to know…

Nevyn
Green is useful to close up a cut… I avoid it otherwise

Rainsong
Usually don’t want even benign tumours to grow… especially in restricted areas (such as inside the skull) or in rigid structures such as bone

Rainsong
Green’s also good for encouraging leafing.

Nevyn
Ammendment: otherwise I avoid it on people

Rainsong
Fair enough.

ceahhettan
lol

Rose
Good to know… i’ll definitely stop using green then.

Rose
But what about purple?

Raggiedmon
I might have encountered* a purple energy that makes thinking difficult, though that information could be wrong

Rainsong
Reportedly, for the raking, purple magnifies other effects.

Rainsong
In both orange and purple, I say “reportedly” because I haven’t used either in this context. Dr. Stephen Co wrote about it in his book “Your Hands Can Heal You”. Much of the rest of the book seems accurate, so I’d abide by his recommendation in this regard, too

Rainsong
Raggied: Depending on what else was going on and how it was being used, I wouldn’t be surprised. In other “non-raking” contexts, too much purple can make a person high or disoriented or both

Rainsong
Other questions? Commentary?

B.O.X.
Scars?

B.O.X.
Is the removal of scars complete fluff territory?

B.O.X.
Or maybe at least aiding their clean healing.

Rainsong
Some of them are difficult, but there have been instances of successful scar mitigation.

Rainsong
Aiding clean healing can be accomplished by the combination of nice, simple approaches we discussed this evening.

Rainsong
Run oomph through the wound a few times a day, starting as early as possible. Rake through the field around it. Visualize it cleanly healed.

B.O.X.
Mmkay. I just know scars need good care in the first place to reduce their visibility. Maybe that’s already common knowledge

Limebeer
Also be sure to do the proper stretches and exercises. Also, vitamin E is good to spread on it , keep it out of the sun for the first year as well

Rainsong
Using psionic and magical aid is an assist. Still use the conventional wound care, too. (Unless conventional care is impossible and psionics is all you have… Then you use the tool you have at hand)

Rainsong
For removal/fading/mitigation of a scar already present, I’d favour the healing method described by a (former?) member of the Nascakiyetl Family.

Rainsong
It isn’t exactly a beginner-type method, but still ought to be safe enough to discuss in open forum.

Rainsong
Seriously paraphrasing here… (not only the words, but quite possibly the method… I’m not totally sure I still follow the instructions as originally written. It’s been a long time.)

Rainsong
It’s possible to look at someone’s field and see “reflections” of earlier iterations of its layout. Your field doesn’t totally get rid of earlier data, so it’s possible to dig through as though you’re looking at a deck of transparencies or slides.

Rainsong
Root through the “deck” until you come to the version just before the injury, and take a look at what the field around the injured area had looked like before the injury happened.

Rainsong
Notice also what the “physical” structures looked like before the injury.

Rainsong
It’s also useful to compare to the equivalent part of the body on the other side, if the injury isn’t on the midline. Humans are basically symmetrical, after all.

Rainsong
Now, combine all that information into a visualization of what the “uninjured” version of the area should be, and push oomph into it while holding the intention of forcing it back to that (earlier) state.

Rainsong
Keep at it until either, it’s no longer doing anything or you run out of oomph.

Rainsong
Questions? Commentary?

Nevyn
(that method works for regular healing quite well too, not just removing scars)

Rose
That’s brilliant…

Scelana
It sounds quite useful

Rose
Does that come with more risks along the type you described earlier in this seminar, where if you don’t know anatomy and physiology, you can accidentally mess things up?

Nevyn
Yes

Nevyn
Less so when used after healing though, so safer just working on a scar.

Rainsong
And more so, for internal organs and the like.

Scelana
Is there any tips and such to help with seeing/looking for these “reflections”?

Rainsong
When I do it, it’s like turning pages on a book, in the area of the field just at or a wee bit above the surface of the skin

Rainsong
It’s in really close, so be mindful of physical “space” and contact issues, if you’re doing this in-person

Rainsong
And move the “pages” gently

Scelana
Ahh kk

B.O.X.
I’m glad to hear about that method of kind of getting in there

Rainsong
I literally use my hands to move the “pages” in question.

Rainsong
It feels similar to gently pulling tendrils/cords loose. There’s a density and resistance that is palpable

Rainsong
Nevyn: Does that line up with your experience?

Rainsong
(Or, indeed, anyone else who’s used this approach in the past?)

Nevyn
I see it more as actual reflections, each a bit different that I can see all at once, then mentally filter out just the one(s) I need

Rainsong
Cool. Thanks.

Rainsong
It’s an approach I haven’t taught before, so other people’s experience is useful for letting folks know that it isn’t necessarily “This One Way”

Rainsong
Any other commentary? Questions?

B.O.X.
None here

Rose
Not from me either

rowinha
(have you ever tried removing birthmarks that way? :innocent: )

Rainsong
Rowinha: I have not. I did lose a birthmark incidentally, but I’m not entirely sure what caused it to disappear.

Nevyn
Haven’t… I don’t mind my birthmarks…

Rainsong
I’m not sure you could go back through the files far enough to get rid of a birthmark, without causing some pretty serious developmental issues in surrounding tissues?

Nevyn
However…. My larger birthmark appears to no longer be there now…..

rowinha
:grimacing:

Nevyn

Nevyn
I can’t actually see the other two to check them…

Rainsong
Interesting, though, yea?

Rainsong
If there are no further questions or comments, we’ll call it a night.

Rainsong
Thanks for participating, everyone.

Rainsong
Have a lovely evening/morning/whatever-suits-your-timezone

B.O.X.
Thanks for the seminar

Scelana
Thxies for the lecture
